downloading orders

Starting a new ShopSite site...
The download interface for orders talks a lot about using the web interface
but I'm not too keen on that. It relys on human choices and we are good at
making bad choices from time to time.
I would prefer that there was an automatic method to do this but it would
require a scriptable command that would extract orders to a server-local
file.
Is there such a capability? I haven't been able to find any docs on it.

ShopSite Pro v7 has the following programatic interface for downloading
orders in an XML format:

Once you download your orders, do you have a system to manage them? The
Stone Edge Order Manager (
www.StoneEdge.com/OrderManager.htm) imports orders
from ShopSite using the XML interface, then gives you all the tools you need
to manage your business. You may be able to save a lot of development time
and money with it.
