Characters in Text Fields

Does anyone know what the |n| characters mean in the text fields when
you download the page database? Are these necessary to use when the page
database is uploaded? Thanks for your help.

|n| indicate embedded return characters. If the text in your input
needs to have returns (such as order options) then you need to have the
|n| in the data when you upload it.
