Customer search and numbers

Running ShopSite® Pro 14.0 r3.5 hosted by Lexiconn (amazing host FYI)

According to the ShopSite Help Manual https://help.shopsite.com/help/14.0/en-US/sc/pro/index.htm?page=/help/14.0/en-US/sc/pro/orders.html

"ShopSite will build a search index from the product names, descriptions, SKUs, Ordering Options drop-down lists, and More Info Page Text. You can enable or disable searching on any of these fields on the Preferences > Search Settings screen."

Yet when my customers search on "505" which is not only in the Product Description (Hatch Green Chile), but also in the Search Keywords (Hatch Green Chile, and Green Chile Dip), the customer gets ZERO products returned. A search on "Hatch" brings both of those plus some other products so search is working on those products.

It should return the Hatch Green Chile and also the Green Chile Dip for a "505" search.

Any idea why numbers are not searchable by customers when the description even indicates they should be able to search on a SKU, let alone search the description, and of course the Search Keywords.

FYI under ShopSite > Preferences > Search Settings > Search Indexing

I HAVE enabled search for Name, SKU, Search Keywords, Description, More Info Text with relevance of 5,5,5,3,2 respectively.

What do you have set for the 'Index numbers' option on Preferences > Search Settings > Search Indexing?
