Just upgraded this morning, and now, when someone orders and I get a copy, instead of seeing the "from" email in my inbox like this:
joeblow@plumpub.com
I am now seeing it like this:
<joeblow@plumpub.com><joeblow@plumpub.com>
(yes, it is duplicated AND bracketed.)
Why? The order form itself looks exactly the same.

What email client are you using? Are these text-based, or HTML email receipts? Just the merchant receipt, or the merchant and shopper receipts?

Haven't sent myself an order yet, so I don't know about the customer side. These are text-based emails, and I am using MacMail.

By default the shopper email address should be the From address on the merchant email notifications. Is it the shopper's email address that is duplicated and has the brackets?

Exactly, the shopper's email...the only issue is that it is duplicated, and has brackets.

I just checked my webmail app, and it does not have the same problem there, so it must be some small conflict between macmail and shopsite upgrade.

Is it the native Mail app on your Mac? What version is it? Is there an available upgrade to a newer version of that mail app?

It is the native app, yes, but my system is a little older (on an older laptop) so this is the latest version for my system (10.7.5)
