multi lingual site

I was just wondering if anyone in the shopsite community has a multi lingual site out there and I was wondering how shop site handles multiple languages. Can it even handle multiple languages and multiple money denominations.

ShopSite can handle multiple languages. Just put the translations for the languages you want in the different fields just like you do for English.

Multiple Denominations are not possible, typically a payment gateway will only handle a single currency. You can specify an alternate currency that will be _displayed_ on store pages (Preferences > Locale > Alternate currency (for display only) ) and an Exchange rate that ShopSite will use for calculating the second currency from your main currency. The shopping cart itself will always be in just the main currency you have chosen to use.

If you need to use multiple currencies because of where you site is located you would need to create separate stores for each currency. You might qualify for a discount on the purchase of ShopSite for additional stores that are essentially duplicates of one store but are in a different language and/or use a different currency as long as the products in the stores are the same.
