I followed all of the instructions in successfully setting up shopsite plugin for wp. I am hosting my own site, the connection was successful, I was able to search for products and insert their code onto the page...but nothing shows up when I view the page, either in published or preview mode. Further, when I look at the source online, the bracketed shortcode does not exist (should it?)
I am expecting to see add-to-cart buttons...is that incorrect?
I am using wp weaver II theme, I have shopsite Version: 11 sp2 r5.1, wp is version 3.6.1
Any ideas?
I do not have info on the description for each product, as the descriptions are on the wp page itself, but I imagine I should at least be able to see the buttons?
Thanks in advance,
Debbie

Debbie, can you give me the URL of where I can see what you are describing?

Re: Wordpress Plugin Not displaying button
Thanks, Lauren, it is http://www.moongateqigong.com/institute/store/
There should be 5 add-to-cart inserts (buttons, that is) after each item with a price in the first three, and then at the ends of the descriptions for the other two.
Do you want me to post the code, also?

Re: Wordpress Plugin Not displaying button
I just tried it on another site of mine using Weaver, but an older version (2010), and it worked fine... here is the page:

Re: Wordpress Plugin Not displaying button
In the one that is not working, please verify that all of your ShopSite plugin settings match what you see in Merchandising -> Social Media -> Wordpress in your ShopSite backoffice. Especially make sure you verify the full 'Authorization URL' and 'ShopSite callback URL' settings, because those can be long.

Re: Wordpress Plugin Not displaying button
Hi Loren (and Lauren?)
That did it! I copied it from a different page, and apparently had not gotten the while callback url, even though it tested successfully. Thank you so much! By the way, what is the difference between the emBasic layout and the emAdvanced layout?
Again, 1000 thanks!

Re: Wordpress Plugin Not displaying button
If I remember correctly, the em_basic will display basic product information such as the regular (typically thumbnail) graphic, product description, price, add to cart, etc. It will be formatted similar to how a product would be formatted if it were on a category page.
The em_advanced will display product information as if it was the product more information page, displaying the larger more information graphic, with the product add to cart, price, etc to the side (typically) and the more information text below the graphic and add to cart.

Re: Wordpress Plugin Not displaying button
These templates are product templates, so you can make your own copies to view and edit via the Copy ShopSite Template function in the Product Templates section of the Merchandising -> Custom Templates -> Page/Product menu.
