Add handling charge to UPS orders

I'm sure that this has been answered before, I can't find it.

I've set shipping to Base Plus Shipping. For USPS I added a $3 handling charge. That works fine.

On the Commerce > Shipping screen:

I've added $3 to "Handling Charge Formula:"

The "Check here to enable handling charges" box is checked.


However, I'm not getting that $3 added to a UPS order. Is this something I'm missing or is the system not working?

What shipping method are you using to get the UPS option? Is it one of your Base Plus shipping methods, or is it from the real-time UPS shipping quotes feature?

Also, what ShopSite version are you using?

Can the shipping cost be added through the shipping screen or does it need to be added to each product?

For Base Plus Shipping there are per-product shipping charges configured in the product info, plus an optional base amount configured in the Commerce Setup -> Shipping menu.

When you enable the handling charge feature, you can enable per-product handling charges, as well as use the global handling charge formula in Commerce Setup -> Shipping.
