Can't see the different directories in the media area

HI,

I used to be able to see all the sub directories in the media directory.

Now if I double click on some of the directory folder names some show the listing of files. But I cant see directories with sub directories under main

Say I have a structure like this

Main Directory CD

then under that directories

Classical
Modern
Jazz
etc.....

I can only see the CD listing from under the Images Area in the back office.

Permissions are set for (CD) that directory as 755.

On the FTP side all directories are there.

Just can't get to them from the back office.
