æøå, suddenly showing up as ... "stÃ¥l av høyeste &quo

Hi!

I have a site in norwegian, and i use the letters æ, ø and å very very often. I have used these without a problem, but now everything all of a sudden when i put out new products or edit something, shows up with weird characters instead. The old stuff that is not edited does not change, they still have their æ, ø and å's.

When i'm in the edit product, it all shows correctly, but not after published. What do i do :( I don't want to change it all..

Why does it happen in shopsite, and how do i fix it back? I know one can use html that will tell the browser to read it as æ ø and å, but when only the edited products shows up as weird.. that's just.. weird

Have you tried looking at it with different browers?

Has anything else changed on your store? Was the ShopSite version upgraded? The store moved to a different server? Was the server OS upgraded? Did it happen during a full moon? Are you using the same template for all products, pages?

You just haven't given much information to go on.

So it was a phase of the moon kind of issue. and I just put that in my answer as a joke. ;-)
