8.2.1.1 Still Puts New Products Last on Every Page

We are still unable to order our pages; no matter what sort is selected, new products sort to the end of the pages. A workaround was suggested, highlighting all pages and selecting "edit page content". However, with 2000 pages in our store, even trying to do this to a few dozen pages at a time causes the function to time out. We discovered that it is the editing of the "Products First" field in Power Edit that will cause the sort to be correct; again however, if more than a few pages are selected, the operation times out. With a large store, this is a major problem for us, with items incorrectly sorted on the pages. Is there any chance of this bug being fixed soon?

I don't know if my problem is related to this...but after the last upgrade, when new products are added to a page, they would NOT be at the end, they might be anywhere. Very frustrating, because every page needs to be reviewed if the product order is important.

Has the new 8.3 resolved this bug? It continues to be a major problem for us.

Yes this has been fixed in 8.3.

My problem is that since a previous upgrade, I think it was Version 7, new products are inserted randomly into an existing page, NOT at the end. Very frustrating if the order of items was intentional, and I have to look at every page where items are added to Re-Order the products. The problem persists even with Version 8.x

Have you tried it in 8.3? Does it work for you there because that is the version that it was fixed in. If it is still not working please give us a step by step process that you follow to reproduce the problem.
