Set Maximum Shipping Fee?

When selecting the "Flat Base Each Shipping" option for shipping, is there a way to cap the maximum shipping fee? If not, is there another way I can do this?

I want to charge a base shipping fee of something like $3, then $1 shipping for each item, but capping the shipping at something like $6. In this example, shipping would be a minimum of $3 and a maximum of $6. Can this be done with ShopSite?

You could use just flat shipping, set the price to $0.00, and then turn on the extra handling charge. Set it to a base of $3.00 plus "number of products" times 1, and set the maximum handling charge to $6.00. That should work.

Thanks for the info. I was considering that and will probably end up doing that. But thought I'd ask if the "shipping" option allowed a maximum as well.
