od shipping/price breaks

Help. I've got a store for a book.
The price for 1 book is 14.95 with 4.50 t/s/h.
The price for 2 or more books is 14.95 with 2.00 t/s/h.

Is there a way to do this in shopsite, as one option? Right now I've got it as two options, you buy one or you buy multiple books. Problem is you choose the multiple books option only, all books are 16.95, which isn't right. That first book is always 19.45.

what I want for example: if you wanted to buy 3 books, it would be:
19.45+16.95+16.95=53.95

I've just updated to shopsite 8, but using Manager version for this store.

You could use the extra handling charge for this (Commerce Setup -> Shipping):
Base $2.50 plus (Total Number of Products) times 2
(or use Weight times 2 and set book weight to one pound)

If this is your only product, you could use shipping by weight. Set the book to one pound:
1 pound shipping: 4.50
2 pound shipping: 6.50
3 pound shipping: 8.50
etc...

With Pro you could have a custom shipping API to have more customized shipping rates.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I tried what you suggested, but because I have other products with no shipping charges, I had to keep the shipping just on that one product, and couldn't configure global shipping changes.

So I figured out the price of the first book+ the price of additional books and that worked. Users choose the number of books they want up front.
