Add Multiple Items to Cart at Once

Hello All,

Is it possible to add multiple products to the cart at a single time?

I am trying to implement a special offer where if you buy over X amount of something you get Y free. I have the free rewards program in place, but people still have to add the product themselves and have been calling us asking where their free stuff is cause they assume it just happens magically and, in my opinion, it really should (automatically, if not magically). If I could just add the free product at the same time as the qualifier product, that would fix the issue. Thank you.

It is possible to add multiple items to the cart at the same time using custom templates. There are several posts in the forum that tell how this is done. You can also go to the ShopSite help and do a search for "multi" and it will bring up links to a page that has sample page and product templates necessary to do this.

I did try to find posts about this since I thought it to be a normal thing to want to do, but could not. For future reference, is there some way to run a search on the forum posts? It is rather lengthy. Thanks again.

Do you mean besides clicking on the Search link shown at the top of each forum screeen?
