Are you not allowed to switch product templates during 1 pub

Hi,

I would like to assign diffferent products different custom product templates and be able to regenerate the site. However it appears that shopsite uses the first product template from the first product it works with when publishing. So if I published with 3 products with three different templates all would publish with the same template if I published them all at once. If I broke up the publishing to 3 seperate events, it would work ok.

It would be a big plus if I could switch templates per product and not have to publish each individually. Am I missing something? Seems like a bug to allow selection of different templates and then publish with just one.

What version of ShopSite do you have? Are you using subproducts? If so, check your Utilities -> Publish settings and see if there is a 'Use subproduct's template for More Info Pages' option there, if there is, check it and Regenerate. If you don't have this option, upgrade to a newer version of ShopSite so that you will have it.
