IE 7.0 won't remember SS passwords

Recently upgraded to newest IE 7.0 browser and can't get into SS without retyping my user name/PW each time. Yeah I know IE has settings to allowing it to remember PWs but nothing seems to work. And I can get into other PW protected sites automatically.

Has SS done something to require manual authorization for every back office visit?

Nothing has changed in ShopSite. It is the webserver that does the authentication not ShopSite so maybe IE 7 is having problems with your webserver.

My guess is that some how you accidentally told IE to not remember the password so you will have to find the place to remove it from the "don't remember" list.
