Postby monte_russell@uswest.net » Sun Feb 11, 2007 7:26 pm

Anyone getting errors with thier up loads or chaning thier product profiles?

I tried to upload a file, then tried to create a prouct, then tried to change an existing product, I keep getting this error:
Error: There is an incorrect numeric value or format in one of your fields.

Just wanted to know if it was me or the server before I go to support.[/quote]

Scratch that last reply, I miss read the question.

Check that you do not put currency symbols, lbs etc in any numeric field like price, sale price, weight. Also In quantity fields it must be a whole number not containing a decimal point.

Nope, did the junk colum at the end. I was getting the error when I tried to create a product from the back office products page also.

I'll give it another try tomorrow.

Nope, no currency or weight symbols. I will look at the spread sheet again in the morning, this product upload has been beating me up for a week.

[sigh]

Thanks.
