Apply Coupons

Is there any way to have a coupon or Gift Cert applied automatically when the shopper clicks on the CheckOut button?

Currently, the shopper must enter the coupon code and then hit the "Apply" button, which applies the coupon but only refreshes the page.

Is there a way to have a one-step process so that the shopper simply enters the coupon code and then hits the checkout button and the coupon is applied and the next page shown is the checkout page?

If you enter the coupon code and click the checkout button it will be calcuated and displayed on the next page. It's just that if they want to see it applied on the cart screen they need to recalulate that screen which the Apply button would do.
