Deleted Shopsite Directory in Programs ....But have backup

Hello,

Some how the Shopsite Directory was deleted during a backup of our server today and now none of the shopiing cart funtions or the back office are working.

We do have a complete back up of all the directory from last week but when we put this directory back we get an error and we are not able to make anything work.

Any ideas on how to straighten this out?

What errors are you getting? When you put the backup back in place, did you make sure all the permissions and ownerships were as they were before the problem? Did you restore symbolic links in the ss and sc directories correctly?

Double check with your hosting provider as well if they are a ShopSite partner, as they can help get things working again.

Could not load Settings File is the main error. Is there a list of what the premissions should be?
