Tell a friend page link

I've set up a custom tell a friend page link, based on tellfriend_default. Mainly just changed background and colors. The form works, but when the email is sent, the recipient gets a message that has a link to the site's home page and not to the product pages. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Found my own answer. The link on the custom page was mis-coded. I'd followed steps for that from an earlier version of shopsite.
