verification number image did not load

Postby edigib » Thu Nov 16, 2006 7:42 am

to avoid fraud, I guess this SSL setting is supposed to load this image with number and asking me to enter this number to verify.
however this image is not loaded on bottom of the checkout page, the last line of payment credit card information block.
how can I either turn this feature off or get this image loaded?

What version of ShopSite do you have?

The settings to turn on/off the human validation image are at the bottom of Commerce Setup -> Payment.

I am using shopsite manager 8.01 (or 8.1), the newest one. I think my question is not about that human validation, I did see that option like up to how many times of try would cause your attention to manually process the credit card request and defaults to 3 times.
my question is the image with verification number never shows up, it is a red X sign. therefore I can't enter this number to verify at the bottom of the checkout page that I am a real person doing this not a machine scanning this page. and thus I can not move forward.
I think with regard to my other post it makes sense that I by mistake enter authorize.net user ID, not API id and no connection to authorize.net gateway at all, including this image.

I will let you know if I can fix it tonight.

Not sure if this is the right post to follow on this but I am getting the:
=====
Payment Processing Error
Your order was not processed

There was a problem processing your credit card information.

Zip Code
Card Number
Expiration Date

message. In reviewing numerous posts here, it seems as if there might be an issue with either the API number or the transaction code from Authorize.Net. I've re-entered them and I've created a new Transaction Code and entered it yet I'm still getting the same error. Web site is Carolinaandco.com. Any ideas what the issue might be? We are using ShopSite 10 sp2

Thank you, have a Happy Thanksgiving

Do you have both Authorize.net SIM and Authorize.net AIM configure in your store? If you do you should disable one of them because they are not designed to work together. I can tell you have 2 payment methods enabled because the shopping cart displays 3 credit card options plus a Credit Card option. The Credit Card option is normally what SIM has and the individual credit cards is what AIM uses. They should not both be in the cart!

You should go to Commerce Setup > Payment Setup and click the Configure button for your payment gateway and in the settings check the box Display Error Details and save changes. They try placing an order again and see what details are displayed below the message you previously saw.

Note, it is better to start a new thread for a problem rather than adding to an existing one. This is especially true when the the original post your message is added to is more than 4 Years old.

The above error message is from Authorize.net here is what they specifically say, "A valid fingerprint, Transaction Key, or password is required for this transaction." Double check your Transaction key entered under Commerce Setup > Payment Setup > Configure Processor (if you are using Authorize.net AIM)

The above error is the generic error message which ShopSite will always give when a payment cannot go through. The above error does not give any information specific to the problem. For that, you will want to go to Commerce Setup > Payment Setup > Configure Processor and then check the box to display error details.
