disable store or maintenance mode

Is there a way in Shopsite 7.1 to disable to store tempoarily? Or put it into a maintenance mode?

Any help would be welcomed.

The only way to disable a store is to remove <storeID>.auth file from the store's data directory. This will disable all backoffice and shopping cart functionality. It will not disable the html pages. You would have to go to the store's output directory and remove all html pages if you don't want them accessed.
