using own logo at the top? + ftp questions..

I am new at this, and I just do not understand how to add my own logo to this template.

I have uploaded the image I want as a logo, but how do I use it as a logo. I want it shown on all my pages as well.

I read some instructions here at shopsite but it was too complicated for me to understand it all..

Just as an example I found on these forums, like on this one, it has a logo in the middle at the top:

That page is using the Cross-sell theme and the area at the top of the screen is filled with the value in the store header which can be found under Preferences > Page Header/ Footer. Just put the html to display your image in the Header and publish and it should appear on all store pages.

For shopping cart, registration etc you will need to put the same code in the appropriate "Text at top of ..." field found on Commerce Setup > Order System > Shopping cart, check out, thankyou etc.
