Deleting Products

When a product is deleted the "MoreInfo" page is not deleted. Is there
anyway of cleaning out the unused pages? And in version 6 will it
delete the more info page when the product is deleted fro ShopSite?
Thanks for any help, as I am replacing our old webguy and trying to
clean up all the excess.

We ran into the same problem, exacerbated by search sites that had
cached links to pages with products we no longer sold. The only solution
I found other than hand-deleting the offending pages was fairly radical:
from an FTP client delete all your html pages from your shopsite
directory and then immediately do a full regenerate from the web
backend. This is a less-than-ideal solution because it means for a
minute or two there are no pages on your website, and visitors can fall
through the cracks. On the other hand it does a thorough job of removing
all stale-dated web pages.

Dealing with this common problem is a feature I would like to see
Shopsite offer.

I don't know if v6 addresses the problem.
