Database locked

We have a store that has been running ok for several years using shopsite
ver 4.1 . Today we received a message that the database was locked. We have
received that message a few times in the past and unlocked the database and
everything was ok. Today I went to the utilities directory unlocked the
database. We are still getting the message and it is repeated 5 or 6 times
every hour or so. I check the database and locks and everything says it is
ok.

Any ideas?

When we were using v4.1 we had that happen several times. We never did get
it fixed, but when we upgraded to 5.0 it never happened again.

Is there a reason you haven't upgraded to version 5? You might want to think
about it. (well, you might as well go ahead and upgrade to 6 now that it's
out)
