Are you all working on this feature? sqllite helped some but i'm having soo many problems that I can't keep count. I would be able to alleviate 99% of my problems if the backend was mysql.

I haven't seen any other reports of this on the forum. Do you know what is happening to cause the error? How would you fix it if the database was mysql? Couldn't you do the same thing to the sqlite database?

This error seems isolated to your install. I've seen a few 8.1.x installs with 20,000+ products and 5,000+ pages without any issues at all. The SQLite3 upgrade actually sped things up in all cases.

SQLite is a great db system, as it is self-contained, fast, and platform independent. It is also SQL compatible, so any sqlite3 editor or plugin for perl/php, etc... will allow easy access to the db itself.

Actually the error is one common to sql lite only. The reason mysql would help is because I could actually have access to the database instead of having to use all these cgi files.

Just when I thought my worries were over I get Restarting upload...

Query failed: database disk image is malformed(11)

Then I have to restore data/shopsite_db and lose all my updates.
Is the only reason you all are using sql lite is to keep your ip safe? I understand that to a certain extent but when it is hindering sites from growing that is a bad thing.
