Product Pages Generated or Created Manually?

Hello,

I am in the process of checking out shopsite and its features to possibly convert over from click cart pro.

In the demo store administration area, I added 10 products, and a main page for the index page. I see I can create a page and assign products to that page and was generated I have a page with the products listed, but is there a way to see individual product pages for each of the 10 products I have added or do I have to create 10 seperate pages, one for each of the products?

In ShopSite Manager and Pro each product can have its own specific page created for it without having to create a separate Page record for each Product. This is called a More Info Page. Go to the Products menu, make sure you are in Advanced Editing mode, find/select a product you want to add a More Info Page for and click Edit Product Info. Down towards the bottom of this menu there is a section called 'More Info Pages' where you can check a box labeled 'More Info Page (Check here to create a More Info page)' and also assign this More Info Page a specific filename if you want. If you don't give it a specific filename, the filename will end up being something like product123.html. I would suggest assigining it a specific filename, something that better identifies the product that is on it, like your_products_name.html.

After you have saved these changes, don't forget to Publish. Once you have Published, any ShopSite-generated page that contains this product should have the product name and graphic as a link to the More Info Page for the product (assuming you are using a product template that does this, and all default ShopSite product themes/templates do).

I noticed that option there and have messed with it to some degree, but will check it out further.
