I\'m afraid

Postby Switch Hits » Sat Jan 19, 2002 10:45 am

I made a new submit_this_order.jpg and return_to_cart.jpg for my Checkout page. I uploaded them to the Media folder with the rest of my site's product images, not the Images folder. The buttons showed up fine. However, when I did a test order, a warning message came up that I was not going to a non-secure page. I looked on the properties of the original button and there was a lot of secure/encryption language there.

So now I made the jpgs into gifs so the names exactly match the names the default images. Can I upload those to the Images file so my new image will replace the default images and my customers do not get a warning that they are proceeding to a non-secure page?

If you use the full https URL to your images they will appear that way
on the page, securely.

Did you put your images in the shopsite-images or your secure image folder. If they are in the regular folder, you will get the non-secure warning

If you put the full https:// URL to the image it doesn't matter where it
is. The image could be in China and it wouldn't matter. If you just put
a filename then ShopSite will be looking for in the shopsite-images
location, but putting it there shouldn't be necessary.
