Why a preview? Is it ever going to release?

I thought it had already been in BETA, so why now a PREVIEW? Its been months
and still no word on when this is going to be released. I've got clients
I've been promising these new features to for a while, and it's starting to
make me look bad.

To get real merchant feedback.

Unfortunately the only people who can really be involved in the beta are
the hosting providers because they have to install it, maintain it,
upgrade it, etc. And since the hosting providers generally aren't using
ShopSite as merchants would, they can't put the Beta through the paces
and look for the small details and have the kind of suggestions a
merchant might. Thus a Preview gives you a chance to do catch some small
things your hosting company might not as well as let you get an idea of
what is in the upcoming version.

Additionally, sometimes there is not much interest in the beta program
from your hosting providers, they always assume someone ELSE will
participate so they don't have to. Which is why for future versions you
as merchants should encourage your hosting providers to sign up for the
beta program and install the betas.
