We apologize for any confusion this may have caused to you. Currently we
have ShopSite version 8.0.1 installed on our servers .We have not upgraded
ShopSite version to 8.1 which support FedEx support. We are in the process
of upgrading ShopSite version 8.1. However, we do not have correct ETA
regarding this and we will keep updating our customer when we complete the
process."

The upgrade itself from 8.0 to 8.1 is quite seamless, and only takes a few
minutes at most in most cases. It sounds like your host is trying to say
they have not yet decided when they will upgrade to 8.1. If they run a
shared ShopSite install (where multiple accounts use the same ShopSite cgi
scripts) then upgrading may be delayed until they are sure they want to
upgrade all stores at once.

Our host (www.lexiconn.com) is upgrading users upon request. We will be
upgraded Monday, 7/10/2006. Lexiconn would have upgraded us last Thursday or
Friday if I had asked a little earlier.
