Zip Code Matching

Hi,

I know the shipping zip code entered on the Checkout page has to exactly
match that entered on the cart page or the customer has to go back to
the cart to recalculate.

However, we've had trouble with customers who switch between the 5 digit
and 9-digit zip. Is there any way this could be modified so it only
verifies that the first 5 are the same (since anything after that
wouldn't affect the shipping cost or tax anyway)?

There is currently no way to match on just the first 5 characters on the
billing screen. You might want to submit an enhancement request at:
