Customer e-mail receipts are standard, they can't be turned off or on. Try
placing a test order in your store and you will see that you get a receipt
as the merchant and another as the shopper.

Hello Jim and thanks for your response. I wish you were correct. I often
have customers write me asking if their order went through because they do
not get any notification. When I first installed ShopSite I did do test
orders but never got any e-mail notification. But just to make sure, I just
did a test order and I did not get an e-mail receipt.
The most I can offer them is the Thankyou page.
Nor do I get Merchant Notifications, but I don't care so much about this
because I keep records of the credit card transactions.
