If you use the Stone Edge Order Manager for ShopSite to manage your orders,
you can create as many email "templates" as you need to handle common
situations. For example, you could have templates for "thanks - we have
received your order", "your order shipped today", "your order has been
delayed - it will ship on or about -", etc. You can have some messages
sent automatically - such as whenever an order is imported from ShopSite.
Also, any time you are viewing an order, you can click the Email button and
either select a template or type a free-form message. If you select a
template, the program will fill it in with the current order's data, then
let you review and edit the message before sending it.
