Minimum $ order enforcement through ShopSite

Hello,

In our shop, we have enacted a $50 minimum order requirement. The notations
on the site about this change are being ignored by many of our customers. We
would like to have this enforced by programing, but it doesn't look like
ShopSite has this sort of parameter.

So my questions are, is there a way to make ShopSite 4.3 Pro do this, and if
not, is this something that ShopSite could do as custom modification?

You can't do this in the current or previous versions of ShopSite, but
it will be a feature in the next version, in ShopSite Pro at least.
