Coupon question

I have my store configured to only accept one coupon per order, so that
coupons can't be stacked.

However, I'd like to occasionally include a 'take 5% off your order'
coupon in an email newsletter. In this particular case, I'd like the
coupon to be applied in addition to other ones.

Is there a way to do this?

(If not, I guess I'll submit a feature request.)
