Search Function Frustration - keeps shortening descriptions

Howdy,

I have a client who did a custom template for thier search page results. You
can see an example here:
http://silverandpewtergifts.com/cgi-bin ... ad86c3a1f6

When the results show, the description text always cuts off at the same
character length. I have stripped out all formatting in both the search
template and the product template that is called, trying to see is something
was cutting it down, but to no avail.

We are using the standard [-- PRODUCT.ProductDescription --] tag, and this
SAME tag renders correctly in a normal product page - such as
http://silverandpewtergifts.com/store/page2.html

A little help - I have tried everything I know and I can not get the
description to show completely.

Aw hey - I just found the answer as soon as I hit send.

For the record go Store Preferences > Search Settings > Search Layout >
Maximum number of characters displayed for the product description

Bingo. Set it to 5000, that should do it!
