/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/zr/sc/order.cgi 404

Postby Don Lundell » Wed Sep 07, 2005 5:05 pm

I have a customer who's getting a 404 for:

/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/zr/sc/order.cgi

My shopping cart is working fine, and if I go to that URL directly, it
generates (as expected) a page complaining about no storeid. So, it's
not 404, at least not for me and other shoppers.

Any ideas? He's using an up-to-date version of IE under Windows.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Just thought I'd update you on this -- turns out it was because javascript
wasn't enabled in his browser.

The shopping cart should operate just fine with javascript turned off

(although some features such as automatic recalculate when zip is
changed, javascript error message, etc won't be available) . What
browser were they using? Were they just going to the url directly or
were they clicking an add to cart or view cart button?

Add-to-cart. Browser: a recent IE under Windows.

My pair.com guy writes:

"The problem for us was that we checked all the web logs for August and
September for you, and there was not a single 404 hit to order.cgi in
them.

However, I just noticed in your previous email that you mentioned
something about the mini-cart. ShopSite does not require the use of
javascript unless you are using the mini-cart feature. Just an FYI, I
guess."
