How to Deselect a Product from Coupon?

I know I can select one or more or all products that a coupon can be applied
to. Can I select one product which the coupon can not be applied to? How?

There is no way to exclude a certain item, You will need to select all
products except the one you don't want.

Jim; I thought that might be the case.

I don't mind selecting all products, except for the one I don't want the
coupon to apply to, but we add products almost everyday to our Web store.
This would mean we would have remember to do this and actually do it almost
everyday. Not an efficient way to work.

Being able to deselect one or more products would be a useful feature to us.
I'll submit an enhancement request.
