Product Databse - Displaying SKU #

Greetings,

I recently setup a store with ShopSite. I also recently upgraded to version
7.1. I'd like to know if it's possible to tweak the setup so I'm able to
display the SKU number. This store sells books and the SKU number is also
the books' ISBN.

I'd like to show this number on the page. Is there some sort of tweaking I
can do to set this up?

Whether or not the SKU can be displayed with the product may depend on
the product template you are using, but there is a setting in Products
-> Edit Product Layout called 'SKU Toggle' with the description 'Check
here to display the SKU of this product' that is unchecked by default.
Try checking that and Publish the pages. If the SKU still does not
appear, then it would seem the particular product template you are using
doesn't pay attention to that toggle, and you can either try a different
product template or create a custom product template of your own.
