We have had our processing set to manual for a few days now (since they
told us it was back up and we realized it was down again). We're
processing all ours through Stone Edge Order Manager now... we're just
waiting until it looks like it's back up then we're running them all
through.
It seems to be working - sales came back. No telling how many we lost
due to this though... I really appreciate the communication from
Authorize.net so we could take action (I'm being sarcastic here).

Yes. and it's killing sales.
Might be better to disable online processing, just get the order and card info
and process offline when you can.

FYI, according to their website (

attack is ongoing, and while they have made strides against it, some
merchants may still be affected.

They were back down again today - we had customers calling in saying
they couldn't get orders to go through.
I understand that they had a DDoS attack, which is a serious incident,
and that their services were impaired for a time because of it. However,
as soon as they were attacked and the services became unavailable they
should have sent an email out to every single merchant that could have
been affected.
I could have turned CC processing to manual in the backoffice and I
wouldn't have lost several thousand dollars in orders over this
scharade. I'm very dissapointed in the service and support from
Authorize.net right now... and am seriously considering alternatives.

It seems Auth.net was under a DDOS (distributed denial of service attack)
since yesterday, which was causing some interruptions for certain
customers
as they attempted to filter and defeat this attack. Word is they are
back to
100% now, or very close to 100% at the least.

We are experienceing problems with Authnet and wondering if anyone
else is
also. It started about 4pm EST yesterday Thursday Sept 16th and
continues -
it's now 8:40am Friday Sept 17th.
We can not access the AuthNet backoffice and we've received several
calls
from customers having problems, though some others can still enter their
orders. No telling how many customers just leave.
Unfortunetly, AuthNet does not have 24/7 Support and I have to wait till
they open.
Just curious if it's something on our end or on theirs and wondering if
anyone else is down.
Thanks
