Hi Larry,
custom product and page template files give you full control over the look&feel
of all products&pages (hence the name) - it's like a web content publishing
system were you can separate content from presentation. For an example of a
customized product & page layout, you can check out our site at
http://www.chinasprout.comThe only problem (hopefully until the next release) are the shopping
cart/check-out screens. Those are pretty static and almost non-customizable
(you'll notice a ShopSite store immediately when you see those pages), but if
your client can live with these pages (only 2 of those vs. 1,000s of product
pages) I think you can do a pretty good job with ShopSite's custom templates,
