no shipping?

any way to remove the shipping
option / info completely? (using 6.1)

what we sell will be delivered
via electronic transfer - so there will never
be any shipping.

Go to Commerce Setup -> Shipping and select the radio button next to the
'None' option and click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen.

i had done that...
seems to have no effect on actually getting
rid of the shipping page option.

in the shopping cart remains the
"Use separate shipping address"
and in check out area still remains
"Use separate shipping address" button.

make sense? i want to totally get rid of those
to eliminate confusion.

I don't have a 6.1 store so can't verify if this is correct but try
Commerce Setup > Order System and in the Shopping Cart screen section
of the page see if the checkbox "Create a separate shipping address
box:" is checked. If it is uncheck it.

the only options i have inside Commerce Setup > Order System
are:

Shipping Screen
For secure orders in frames:
Keep secure orders in frame.
Bring order screen to the top of the frames.
Open order screen in new window.

Text at the top of the Shipping screen:

Create customer comments box:

Create an add to e-mail list box:
Add to e-mail list box checked by default:
("Create an add to e-mail list box:" must also be checked)

Text displayed for add to e-mail list:

Text at the bottom of the Shipping screen:


more suggestions are welcome....

I believe the option Jim referred to is only available in ShopSite Pro,
so if you have ShopSite Manager or Starter you will not have that option.
