Variable Pricing

When using variable pricing and variable names in Shopsite 7 Pro, my
shopping cart shows, under the NAME column:

Variable - <Product Name>

I can't seem to find a way to turn off the 'Variable -' portion. Is this
possible? Is there an important reason to have this token?

You can modify the text under Preferences > Store Text. You could
probably put a space or two so that no text shows but if the field is
entirely empty I believe that it uses the default value.

The reason behind the text is to indicate to the merchant that the
product is a variable name/price product and not a standard product. The
shopper could put in a name that matches another product in the store
and the price is way different and the merchant could be confused as to
what product the shopper really wants.
