Downloading Orders

Postby Mark Kroska » Wed Apr 28, 2004 6:22 am

I need clarification on how the order download function works. When a new
order comes in, we can see the listing of orders by clicking on the tab.
It's possible to individually or group select orders to delete. When I
click to "Download orders" the selection seems to have no effect. All
orders that are in the Orders window seem to download. Is this the correct
functionality?
So if we are importing the orders into Quickbooks, any non-downloaded orders
should be deleted before the next download (if this is my correct
understanding).
I appreciate the help!
THANKS!
Mark

When you download orders from within the ShopSite back office all orders
in the database are downloaded. If you only want to download new orders
you will need to delete any previously downloaded orders.

You can create an application to use the xml download from a remote
application then you can specify what orders to download based on date
or ordernumber.
ShopSite has a new application using the xml download called ShopSite
Order Transfer. It interfaces with QuickBooks and will download orders
from ShopSite and import them into Quickbooks based on date,
ordernumber, last downloaded etc. The product is in the final stages of
development and will be available shortly. If you would be interested
in more information about this new product you can fill out the form at
http://www.shopsite.com/ad-form.html and in the comments section put
that you want information about the ShopSite Order Transfer for QuickBooks.
