Version 7 Shipping default

Is there a way to have a specific shipping method automatically selected as
the shipping method. Customer have to select a method of shipping to
continue the checkout process. In my case I offer free shipping and it
would be helpful if the customer didn't have to select our primary shipping
method. Viewing all the shipping choices is also necessary
