Missing search settings after upgrade to V7.X on IRIX

All,

After upgrading from 6.3 to 7x and regenerating the site , I have lost the
ability to enable search on pages. I can not even find the page to make them
active. Even under search settings page the last entry that I have is for
Background image and nothing else. Is this where I have to be?

Do you have a lot of images listed in the Images area? If so, that could
be causing a problem with the images pull-down. Go to Images, and at the
bottom there should now be a radio button selection to choose to select
images via a pop-up window. Switch the radio button to this option, and
click the Save button, then try the Search Preferences again.

I have done that but still can not find the search settings, we have > 1100
images in that particular directory.
