Is there a way to link pages and products database? I know the pages
download has the LINK field, but I don't see any ID or KEY in there that
would let me link, maybe only the product name. This info must be
somewhere.
Does anybody know?

Via the pages upload file you can include the name of the product you
want to be on the page in the 'Link Products' field. If there is more
than one, put all of the product names you want on the page in that same
field and separate them by the | (pipe) character.

Ok, so I must make sure the product names are the same?
What if there are duplicate names with different SKU numbers
Thanks

I know that adding ~[SKU] (a tilde, then the SKU) after the product name
works in the Subproducts linking field in the Product upload, so try
this out in the Page upload in the case where you have products with
duplicate names but different SKU's.

BTW, I just tried it myself, and the [product name]~[SKU] format does
work in the Link Products field of the pages upload file, and in fact
the pages file from page download should already include the ~[SKU] if
the product linked to that page has an SKU. I tried this in v6.3.1,
should be the same in v7.

Eeek, I am running version 5 of shopsite and I just see the name in the Link
field in pages. What can I do to get the SKU in there? Can you check with
your version 5?
Thanks
