After registration - Multiple pricing levels available in 7.

Postby Ryan Ricks » Thu Jan 15, 2004 12:48 am

Are multiple pricing levels available in version 7.0? More specifically, can
I specify a group of registered users (our subdealers) to receive "dealer"
prices when browsing our store instead of the regular retail prices?

This is a very important feature for those who sell both retail and
wholesale.

I will ask again, since no one has replied yet.

Can I implement multiple pricing levels in SS 7? I need a "retail" price,
and a secondary "dealer" price available for each item. Dealer pricing
should be available to be assigned to certain registered customer accounts.

Loren? If this is not already available somehow, where can I submit a
feature request?

Ryan,

Registered customers can be placed in Groups, and Groups can be assigned
Coupons which will automatically be applied to their shopping cart the
next time they login. Here is the help page for the Group setup:

Loren,

I am aware of the Groups and the ability to add coupons to them. However,
the current functionality available in Coupons is not sufficient for the
pricing ability I have described.

We have 1200 products. On some products, dealer cost may be 60% of retail.
On others, it might be 73%. Still others might be 52%. Short of creating
1200 coupons to accomodate every product we carry, assigning coupons to
groups will not serve our needs...
