I Have a nice app that will create a datafeed from shopsite

Postby GB » Mon Jan 19, 2004 9:59 am

If anybody is interested in an access app that will take the products and
pages database from shopsite to create a nice new database with a CATEGORY
field. The applications does this:
1. import only relative fields into access from products and pages.
2. links products to pages, to derive keywords, descriptions and most
importantly a CATEGORY field (based on page name)- yeah!! Will create extra
categories if in more than one category of course.
3. will export the new datafeed to a tab delimted text file

You need access 2000, but the app works fine and is simple and just does the
above.

I only ask for $15 paypal fee for my efforts, please let me know if
interested by sending an email.
This is not spam, I just did the work to automate my tasks, and maybe others
can benefit too.

Thanks

Will this app create a tab delimited file suitable for use as Froogle
datafeed? If so, I would be very interested...

Hi Ryan,

Yes it will. In fact that is why I made this to begin with. Was sick of
the fact there was no real association between products and pages.
Saves me a lot of time now.

Let me know if interested. I can send details via email.

Thanks a bunch
