CVV2 Number Collection

I process my credit card orders manually and do NOT use an online processor.
Is it possible to collect a customer's CVV2 number at the same time I
collect their credit card information? I can't seem to find a feature that
allow me to ask for the CVV2 code.

Which version of ShopSite are you using?

In ShopSite v6.0 and newer go to Commerce Setup -> Payment and click the
Configure Processor button. If you are not using an online cc processing
gateway, then the processor radio button should be set to Manual, and
when you click the Configure Processor button the only options you will
see relate to adding a CVV2 field and requiring the CVV2 field to be
filled out by the shopper.

Isn't storing CVV2 information against Visa/MC regulations?

My understanding is that once you run the card you are not supposed to store
the CVV2 value. Obviously you do temporarily need it to run it manually.
