QuickBook recomendation, anyone?

Postby Steve McNamara » Tue Nov 25, 2003 11:21 am

Hi all:

Can anyone tell me the least expensive Quicken QuickBook program that will
work with SS 6?

That's a rank way to express the issue, but I don't want to spend more than
necessary on QuickBooks Premier, Pro, or Basic 2004.

Any recomendations?

Thanks

Must be a Windows version, 2000 or newer.

We currently use Quickbooks Pro, never have used basic. I would suggest
going to quickbooks.com and doing a product comparison. There are other
important issues to consider in choosing the version, such as will you need
to access the program from a remote computer, do you want to be able to
email forms to customers directly from the program. For what it is worth,
from our experience, importing info into Quickbooks can be a frustrating
task. Our attempts have included a standalone conversion program. For one
reason or another, we always have ended up going back to the old standby of
copying and pasting orders into the program.
